There are three critical components to success for the social media marketer. If you are marketing an MLM or affiliate products, these three done in order will make you a force.

Three components for the social media marketer

There are three components that the social media marketer needs to consider. When you are marketing your MLM or your affiliate products, you want to have three things and they are the PEC formula. The PEC formula stands for three things.

  • Presence
  • Exposure
  • Conversions

The social media marketer is not a clam. They are heard loud and clear with presence, exposure and conversion. They are proactive in their daily lives.

How to achieve the PEC formula for the social media marketer

Now, we get into each component to give you the basics of the PEC formula for the social media marketer.

Presence: You want to have a presence that shows a few things in you that will attract people to you. Your presence is what tells people if you are serious and live by what I call the VSL proposition. Your presence tells people who you are. You will find my presence building in many places around the web over the course of time, but there are two places I want to share. I will allow you to pick them apart on your own. They will continue to grow over time, so depending on when you are reading this, the size of these things will be bigger for each new visitor, but you have to start building it now.

Exposure: You have a market of well over a billion people who will be putting their eyeballs on all the things that interest them in social media. The social media marketer finds the way to get in front of those that are looking for what they have. Traditional traffic generational methods are being overtaken by the social world to the point where social media is passing up giants like Google in web presence. The social media marketer gets proactive in communities all across the web to gain exposure to whatever they are promoting, but again, I always stress promoting yourself first and branding yourself first. Drive social media users to your profiles and landing pages.

Conversions: You want to get a result from the exposure portion of your marketing. If, for example, you are posting in Facebook groups about something that you are doing, you want to provide real value and an immediate benefit that will lead to one of two things.

  • An immediate click to the link that you are promoting.
  • An immediate click to your profile so people can check you out. Your presence will make people want to friend you to get value from you.
